There are several opportunities over the course of V2D 2026 to connect with your fellow attendees. These include the below social and engagement functions.
All these sessions are included with a full registration, but must be selected at the time of registration to confirm your attendance.
Welcome Function
Sunday 11 October | 5:30pm - 7:30pm | Stirling Room
Your first opportunity to meet other attendees and forge important connections. Enjoy drinks and canapes on the Stirling Room decking, nestled in the K’Gari rainforest.
Aussie BBQ Dinner
Monday 12 October | 6:00pm - 8:00pm | Sand Bar and Bistro
Taste the local flavours of K’Gari and Australia with a traditional Aussie BBQ buffet. Connect with other delegates while savouring the scents of Bar-b-cued meats.
Poster Sessions
Monday 12 & Tuesday 13 October | 8:00pm - 9:00pm | Stirling Room
Following your evening meal return to the Stirling Room to discover some of the latest research and work in the fields of venoms to drugs by engaging with poster presenters.
Conference Dinner
Thursday 15 October | 6:00pm - 11:00pm | Wongari Den
The culmination of the conference to celebrate everything you’ve learnt with new friends and colleagues. Enjoy a night of good food and company.
